IMAP Kann stream nicht öffnen

 Hey!
Habe folgenden Code:

  1. <?php  
  2. $mailbox = '{mail.hosting-agency.de}INBOX';  
  3. $username = 'm015917-catchall';  
  4. $password = '***********';  
  5.  
  6. $connection = imap_open($mailbox,$user,$pass) or die(imap_errors() . 'Connection Faliure!');  
  7.  
  8. [...]  


Und beim Ausführen bekomme ich folgendes zurück:

Warning: imap_open() [function.imap-open]: Couldn't open stream {mail.hosting-agency.de}INBOX in /home/u0056353138/public_html/Webmail.php on line 6
ArrayConnection Faliure!

Was bedeutet das, also was ist falsch?

 Zum einen brauchst du einen bestätigten Account (Suche!), damit ein Zugriff auf andere Server möglich ist.
Allerdings ist, so weit ich weiß, die imap-Funktion bei Pytal sowieso deaktiviert.

 Das Script scheint nicht bei Pytal zu liegen:
in /home/u0056353138/public_html/Webmail.php on line 6

Zum Problem:
Ersteinmal passen deine Variablennamen nicht, zweitens gibt imap_errors() ein Array und keinen String zurück.

Probiere es doch einmal so:
  1. <?php    
  2. $mailbox = '{mail.hosting-agency.de}INBOX';    
  3. $username = 'm015917-catchall';    
  4. $password = '***********';    
  5.  
  6. $connection = imap_open($mailbox,$username,$password) or die('Connection failure caused by the follwing errors:'."\n".' o '.join("\n o ", imap_errors()));    
  7. ?>  


Bei mir kommt dann:
  1. Warning: imap_open() [/phpman/function.imap-open.html]: Couldn't open stream {mail.hosting-agency.de}INBOX in /home/tilman/tmp/temp.php on line 6  
  2.

 Ups, ja, lag an den falschen Variablennamen ... hatte die öfters geändert und dann wohl was vermischt
